Maria Sharapova and Ana Ivanovic are both been nominated for the 2010 edition of AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women.
AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Woman is compiled annually. Besides sex appeal, voters have to pick women who have characteristics they value in a potential companion, such as intelligence, humor, charisma and ambition.
All the nominees are divided in three categories (models & athletes; actresses; and singers). Voters can go through all the nominees and give them a score between 1 and 10 (10 being the most desirable). The 2010 edition of AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women will be launched on Jan 19.
AskMen.com has been compiling the Most Desirable Women list since 2001. The most desirable woman in 2008 and 2009 are Katherine Heigl and Eva Mendes respectively. The highest a tennis player has placed was No.31, achieved by Maria Sharapova in 2006.
