Maria Sharapova arrived at The Roof Gardens pre-Wimbledon party last night carrying an iconic black Alexander McQueen elongated Knuckle Duster box clutch. The 2004 Wimbledon champion paired her classic yet edgy Alexander McQueen handbag with a body conscious red dress that featured shoulder slits and bold gold jewelry which took Sharapova from the court to the runway and ready to celebrate for the night.
With the help of a new coach last year and an upward movement in her rankings, Maria Sharapova will be a force at Wimbledon this year. In addition to hitting an “ace serve down the T” with her Alexander McQueen clutch, Sharapova is sure to be hitting several aces on the court during Wimbledon this year as she competes to win and reclaim her title from 2004.
The Alexander McQueen Knuckle Duster elongated clutch features an ornate “handle” on the top of the hard box clutch which is made from gold-tone metal and boats a skull and gemstones with four holes for her fingers. The interior of the clutch offers leather lining and a roomier interior than the shorter version of the Alexander McQueen classic. The handbag’s dimensions are 3” X 8.5” X 2” and the exterior is made from black satin.
While fashion fans cheered Maria Sharapova on as she arrived at the pre-Wimbledon party last night and hit a Grand Slam with her ensemble and handbag, tennis fans will be rooting for her when she steps on the courts at Wimbledon.
