Tiffany & Co. today announced that Maria will wear earrings by celebrated Tiffany designer Paloma Picasso at the Australian Open, January 18 - January 31, 2010 at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia.
The striking earrings reflect Paloma Picasso’s bold and original approach to jewelry design‚ with drops of polished yellow quartz in 18 karat yellow gold. “Paloma Picasso is known for using colorful gemstones of great scale in her jewelry designs,” Ms. Sharapova said. “I admire her style and reputation as a fashion icon‚ and I take great pleasure in wearing these elegant earrings on the court.”
