Memphis 2010 Draw Released

The draw for the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships & The Cellular South Cup in Memphis has been released and Maria is the top seed and will play Shenay Perry of the United States in the 1st round.  Maria has played Perry twice before - both times in challengers in 2002 and 2003 and the series is tied 1-1.  This match will be played on Monday night at 19.00 local time.

The first seed Maria can meet is #8 seed Elena Baltacha of Great Britain in the quarters.  #3 seed Kaia Kanepi of Estonia or #5 seed Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic could be a possible opponent in the semis. #2 seed Melanie Oudin of the United States and #4 seed Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic are in the bottom half of the draw.

Memphis is played indoors and is an International $220K event and Maria has played once before in 2004 and reached the semis.
