Maria Sharapova Hired Thomas Hogstedt as Coach

Maria Sharapova aims to be regularly and avoid the injuries that have slowed in recent seasons.

Maria Sharapova finished 2010 as number 18 in the WTA rankings after winning two titles (Memphis, Strasbourg) and to three finals (Birmingham, Stanford, Cincinnati). Russia has in mind to return to the level that one day led him to be the best circuit and has therefore hired as coach Thomas Hogstedt Swede, formerly of Tommy Haas or Na Li among others.


The European player, after a short break, has returned to training in preparation for the upcoming season.
