Former world No.1, Maria Sharapova has arrived at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport on Wednesday at 5:50 in Taiwan. Maria Sharapova, who is in Taiwan to play an exhibition match against fellow country women, Vera Zvonareva, was all smiles, as she was welcomed grandly by throngs of screaming Taiwanese fans.Russian top seeded players Maria Sharapova and world No.4, Vera Zvonareva will be battling in an exhibition match on Thursday, 22nd September, 2011 at a Taipei Arena in Taiwan.

Taipei, Sept. 21 (CNA) Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova was all smiles as she greeted throngs of screaming Taiwanese fans upon her arrival at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport at 5:50 a.m. Wednesday.
Wearing a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses, the world No. 2 signed autographs for Taiwanese fans who got up early to welcome her on her first-ever trip to Taiwan for an exhibition match.
