No gas left in the tank yesterday. Vika played some great tennis, I really enjoy our matches. Overall I am happy with the week and will be on the practice court on Tuesday getting ready for Cincy.

| Maria Sharapova Loses Stanford Final |

Maria's run at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford came to an end at the hands of #8 seed Victoria Azarenka of Belarus in the final. Maria lost 4-6 1-6 in 1 hour and 27 minutes.
In the new Sony Ericsson WTA Tour rankings which are released on Monday, Maria will be ranked No.13 with 3460 points. |

Maria is through to her 3rd final of 2010 at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford. Maria defeated #3 seed Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland 1-6 6-2 6-2.
In Sunday's final, Maria will play #8 seed Victoria Azarenka of Belarus. The match will start at 12.00 local time (15.00ET & 21.00CET). Maria has played Azarenka three times before and leads the series 2-1, below are the matches they have played against each other. |
