The World No. 5 ranked Maria Sharapova, one of the famous personality in the tennis history had experienced ups and downs in her tennis career.

The 24-year-old Sharapova, who lost her Wimbledon crown to Petra Kvitova in the finals, as she want to make a strong come into the Bank of the West Classic at Stanford. Sharapova has seeded No. 2 in the tournament ahead of World No. 3 Victoria Azarenka. The other players like Marion Bartoli, Samantha Stosur, and Agnieszka Radwanska are also the heavy favorites to clinch the Bank of the West Classic championship.
