Stanford 2011 Draw Released

The draw for Maria's first event of the US Open series at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford has been released and Maria is seeded No.2 and has a bye in the first round. In the second round on Wednesday night at 19.00 local time Maria will play either Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia or a qualifier.

The first seeded player Maria can meet is No.6 seed Julia Goerges of Germany in the quarters - former world No.1 Serena Williams is also in Maria's quarter.

Maria has played Stanford for the last two years and her best result was reaching the final last year.
