Maria Sharapova is back? Given her showings on and off the court in the last few weeks, you'd better believe it.
After injuries nearly derailed what was one of the most promising careers women's tennis has ever seen, a career in which Sharapova netted three Grand Slam titles before she turned 22, the former world No. 1 player is on the comeback trail.
While she has just two wins in her last 22 tournaments, the blond bombshell has been clawing her way up the WTA rankings once again, climbing from 18th at the start of the 2011 season to 13th heading into this week's Sony Ericsson Open.
Now, after blasting through her first three opponents without dropping a single set, the Russian is set to re-enter the top 10 for the first time in three years. Her game is better than it has been at any point in those three years, and she looks poised to regain her dominance on the court.
In honor of Maria's return to stardom, we're taking a look at the blond bombshell, showing you why she remains a perfect 10.
