Maria will play her 2nd round US Open under the lights on Thursday against Iveta Benesova of the Czech Republic. They have played twice before and Maria leads the series 2-0 - the last meeting meeting was in Tokyo at the end of last year which Maria won 6-4 7-5.
This match will be played on Arthur Ashe Stadium at 19.00 ET.
